IT37 Casa Di Mare

Casa di Mare was perfect for our family. We visited the Cinque Terra with our two young children. The location was central to the beach and offered spectular views. It was easy to get to the train station and to the village restaurants. Bonnassola was a nice alternative to the more popular villages of the Cinque Terra. Although we visited during the off season, the larger cites like Monterossa were still very crowded with tourists. Bonnassola was peaceful and the villagers were quite friendly. The villa was ideal for a stay for large families or families traveling together. The meal prepared for us on our first night in the villa was delicious. Although she doesn't speak very much English, the housekeeper was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Casa di Mare if traveling to the Cinque Terra.

Very convenient location of the villa in the very nice small village of Bonassola. Villa was well prepared and clean. A housekeeper was very helpful and the welcome dinner was a very pleasant and tasty surprise. Sometimes the communication was a bit difficult because everybody could hardly speak English. But anyway, some Italian words and ginger-language allowed to communicate each time. Gardener who cleaned the house did their job very well without being noticed. Beach in the village is very good, we used the payable one but the public one is good as weel. The beach is just 3 min walk from the villa. There are several small foodstores in Bonassola wher you can buy all food and fruits. But fresh fish can be bought in nearby village of Levanto (5 km by car or 2 km by bicycle). Small villages in Cinque Terra are great to visit but for holiday "sunbathing" stay Bonassola is much better due to its beach. Additionally, we visited Genova (aquarium is very interesting to children) and even Sienna (it's a pearl of Toskana).
