Description Umbria villa to hire with private pool - Located in a hidden, unspoilt part of Italy, this villa offers a perfect refuge from modern life deep in the Umbrian countryside. The property itself is attractively furnished throughout with stone walls, wood beamed ceilings and tiled floors - décor is neutral, light, airy and spacious with all bedrooms fitted with colour televisions. There is a large garden, good lawned areas and a sizeable swimming pool a short distance from the villa; the grounds are all enclosed. There are also delightful views around the property over the surrounding hillside and valleys. The location is peaceful and is a perfect country retreat as well as being close to local amenities; many fascinating Umbrian towns are nearby including Todi, Terni or Orvieto. The Sibillini National Park is nearby where guests may care to take part in activities such as water rafting, whilst for those seeking more relaxing pastimes, Amelia also has Roman ruins, archaeological museums and the like. For visitors wishing to experience Rome, there is a train station at Narni-Amelia that enters directly into the city; thus avoiding the inconvenience of driving or parking in the capital. The villa owner also makes fine Sangiovese wines as well as high grade olive oil; guests are invited to join a tasting. Please note there is a separate building near the villa that can be used as a function room, for entertaining large parties and so on. Further details can be provided on request. |
