It is decorated in a modern Italian style on the hillside behind the village of San Felice del Benaco on Lake Garda. The nearest lakeside ' beach' is 2 kms away whilst the village of San Felice is easily accessible for local restaurants and cafes. There are views to the lake and also the snowcapped mountains of the southern Alps. The property is set over three levels with a rounded turret effect on one side, resulting in curved rooms bathed in light. There is approximately 340m² of accommodation space, whilst the grounds which include a garden given over to lawn, shrubs and olive trees is approximately 1600m² in size. This lake garda villa is located in a residential area on a no-through road; there are neighbouring properties on this road. A ten minute walk from the lake villa are tennis courts and bowls, with access restricted to hillside residents only (charges may apply).
There are many attractive towns along the lake from Desenzano in the south to Riva in the north. One can enjoy a lakeside stroll with a cappuccino or a restaurant specialising in freshly caught lake fish, or alternatively you could hire your own motor boat. There are possibilities to sail, dive or windsurf (particularly in Riva) or take a cable car up into the Alps (via Monte Baldo) for the highest view of all. Verona is just forty minutes away with its amphitheatre home of the famous Opera festival during the summer whilst day trips can be made easily to Milan, Venice, Vicenza or Padua (by train from Desenzano station) or by car. English speaking owners live nearby: they are available to offer advice, maid service or simply restaurant recommendations as required.
