Description Garfagnana villa - set amongst a twenty five acre estate outside the village of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, this is a well presented property enjoying excellent views across the surrounding countryside. The property itself has a homely Italian feel and the wide open plan living/dining area is ideal for relaxing evenings, whilst the French doors to the patio will allow access to the BBQ and al fresco dining. Large lawned areas around the property are ideal for children, whilst bedrooms are elegant and comfortable. This property offers excellent value. The region of Garfagnana itself is located between two mountain ranges (the Apuan Alps and the Appennino Tosco-emiliano) and as such enjoys a spectacular landscape as well many other natural pleasures. There are many small villages waiting to be discovered in the surrounding area as well as various culinary delights including excellent home made cheeses and cold cuts, whilst in the autumn the region is known for its chestnuts. For day trips, Lucca is easily reachable as well as the coast at Versilia, whilst local amenities and restaurants are just a short drive away.
