Description Il Maniero is a classic Italian villa that was built at the end of the 18th century. The property has its own formal park including a chapel in the grounds. This stately residence is ideal for a large group wishing to enjoy Italy from a luxurious base. There is a Tuscan style kitchen and a large dining room with French doors to the gardens, enhanced further by attractive tiled flooring and beamed ceilings. Furnishings are ornate, including chandeliers and heavy wood, with great care and attention to detail resulting in elegant public areas and very comfortable bedrooms. The location is excellent; just minutes from the charming town of Lucca - a remarkable walled city that is perfect for shopping, eating out or sightseeing, whilst Pisa and Florence are also within easy striking distance. The coast is close (for the beaches of Tuscany, including fashionable Forte dei Marmi) whilst the famous Chianti Classico is within day trip distance, as are gems such as Siena and San Gimignano.This Italian villa offers a great way to experience this beautiful part of the country. |
