Description Located on an estate of some sixty two hectares in the hills of the Chianti Fiorentino is this recently restored Tuscan cottage, Casa Gambassi. The property was renovated just over three years ago and is of a high standard throughout, benefiting also from air conditioning as well as modern furnishings. The surrounding countryside is classic Chianti - olive groves and vineyards set amongst rolling hills encircled by cypress trees and sunflowers. This is an ideal location from which to enjoy and explore the best of central Tuscany. There are some apartments and a second independent cottage located a short distance from Casa Gambassi (approx 100 metres), however privacy is assured for clients. This second cottage is also represented by Quality Villas, larger groups or two families for example may wish to consider renting both (please see villa Dei Dogi). There are good views from the property; this is the classic ' Tuscan cottage' in a picture perfect location. It is also very well located for exploring the local sights; Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Volterra are all within easy day trip distance. |
