Description Il Pescatore was previously a farmhouse and two barns. It has now been restored into a luxurious villa property with two annexes - one being a separate accommodation, the other a ' wellness centre' with sauna and jacuzzi. It has retained much of its original charm but with modern fittings, including underfloor heating or cooling systems depending on the time of year. All rooms are comfortably appointed with modern terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings, satellite television and with ensuite shower rooms. The main house itself accommodates fourteen persons, the annex six persons. It is possible to book the villa alone for 14 persons (details on request). The property is located in a gated, private estate. Surrounding the rear of the house are vineyards, whilst to the front is woodland. Due to its hilltop position it commands good views but the woodland immediately in front of the house is in a ' valley' and not easy walking due to the gradient, however the vineyards to the rear guarantee a pleasant stroll. There is a small lake besides the entrance to the estate which guests may fish in, rods and equipment may be purchased from a nearby hypermarket that is some twenty five minutes away. There are also several outlet stores including Prada, Gucci and Armani within forty minutes drive. The property is also well located for making pleasant day trips to many of Tuscany' s most picturesque towns, Siena in approximately thirty minutes, Montepulciano, Cortona or Montalcino and charming villages like Greve in an hour. |

Location Nearest trattoria 2 kms, Ambra 7 kms (nearest shops), Siena and Arezzo 30 mins, the following all within an hour approx ; Florence, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Greve, Castellina in Chianti, Cortona. and San Gimignano within 1 hr 30 mins. Recommended airports: Pisa (2hrs), Florence (1hr 45mins). Other airports within 2.5 - 3 hrs Bologna, Forli, Ancona, Rome Ciampino, Rome Fiumicino. |

Open tread stairs to First Floor First Floor : Five double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms . Two bedrooms have also a single bed in them suitable for parents and child. In four of the bedrooms throughout the whole property, the double beds can also be divided into twin beds, please specify at time of booking if required. Note: all bedrooms have TVs fans.
