Description Elba holiday villa - This is a stylish property with stunning sea views and enjoying a spectacular vista across pine woodland to the sea and as far as the islands of Montecristo and Pianosa on a clear day. The sea is in close proximity, within a few minutes walk, however the closest sandy beach is about a 20 minute walk or a short cycle/buggy ride across the estate. Villa Montecristo has attractive wooden flooring in the main living area and a modern kitchen with French doors to the terrace and barbecue area. From the living area, there is a covered seating area adjacent to the pool with seaviews. There is also a small lawned area (approx 30m²). Bedrooms are attractively furnished, most with ensuite facilities, ceiling fans and hairdryers as standard. The house itself is situated on a private 350 hectare natural park enjoying a secluded, peaceful location. Within a short distance are two restaurants (one beachside), mini-market, tennis, equestrian centre, mountain bike hire, large communal pool and bar. There is also a watersports centre offering scuba diving. There are several lovely beaches for the guests of the estate (finding your own patch of sand is easy!) Further afield (at 7kms) is the town of Capoliveri that offers a wider selection of restaurants and shops. Elba itself has numerous beaches and other points of interest to explore including of course a historical legacy from ones of Elba' s most famous residents, Napoleon. |

Getting to Elba - Elba island is just 20 kilometres or so from the mainland of Italy. Getting to your accommodation is easy, there are a number of options: 1) Fly to Pisa airport, meet chauffeur (with car, minibus etc) in arrival hall, travel to Piombino and board ferry as foot passenger. At arrival ferry terminal pick up hire car for 25 minutes drive to accommodation or taxi. 2) Fly to Pisa airport, take a hire car to Piombino in about 1 hour/1.5 hrs (or another ferry point) and take the ferry crossing with car (1 hour). The villa is about 25 minutes drive from the arrival ferry terminal. 3) Fly to Pisa, Florence or Milan, take connecting flight to Elba directly. Take hire car from airport to accommodation.
