Description Country villa in Umbria - Located near the charming town of Montefalco in a picturesque region of Umbria known for production of the famous Sagrantino di Montefalco wine, is this carefully renovated farmhouse. With panoramic countryside views all round, in a tranquil rural location, this property and its location offers the best of Umbria, being within walking distance of a local village for local amenities whilst being just a short distance of several others for relaxing meals out, with many enchanting towns like Spoleto, Todi, Perugia and Assisi being less than an hour away. The property itself, built from local stone with tiled floors and beamed ceilings is light and airy making a cool refuge in the summer. The swimming pool is uniquely sheltered from the sun, set amongst enclosed fully fenced, well maintained grounds with a private gated entrance. The property has an attractive covered veranda area that can be opened via French doors to the garden, containing a hydro massage bath and seating; ideal for relaxing in this 'day room'. The property is surrounded by fields, usually containing sunflowers or other similar crops with good views from most windows.
