Villa near Montepulciano - In a picturesque location in the south of Tuscany, close to the town of Montepulciano, is the restored farmhouse Sarripoli. The carefully undertaken renovation work, with local materials and traditional building methods, has created a fine residence, ideal for a family or group looking to enjoy this attractive area of Tuscany.

Initially built as two apartments, the property is however able to be rented as a whole; the ground and first floor being divisible means the property is also ideal for two families travelling together, or a family with elder siblings that prefer some space (there is an internal interconnecting door). There are two independent external entrances to each floor, the upper level being accessed via an external staircase. Both floors have their own dining and kitchen areas as well as their own terraces. Decor is traditional Italian with tiled floors, wooden beamed ceilings and wrought iron beds, whilst furniture is in an attractive country style.

The swimming pool area is located to the rear of the property at a lower level, accessed via steps going down via a terraced garden area. There are pleasant views from the property across the surrounding countryside. The well known historical Tuscan town of Montepulciano is close by: it is famous for its 'Vino Nobile di Montepulciano' and 'Rossi di Montepulciano' wines as well as for its churches, castle and shopping streets. Further afield is Lake Trasimeno, Pienza and Montalcino, all worthwhile day trips.
