At the end of August Barga Jazz Festival is something not to be missed.

For a change of scene, the long sandy beaches of Versilia are a few miles away and some of the most exclusive boutiques can be found along the passeggiata in Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Marina di Pietrasanta.
