Here, you are in the gentle undulating hills of Chianti country: vineyards and olive groves are at every turn. Your nearest village is Montaione, where you will find shops and restaurants, as well as food and local crafts markets and numerous musical events (jazz, classical) during  July and August. And if you fancy spending time at the seaside, there are several resorts on the Tuscan coastline which would make a great day out.
