Close to the sandy beaches of Tuscany's Maremma coast, and only 2 miles from a medieval hilltop village, Tenuta di Sassetta makes a superb vacation home.

The villa is located on a large country estate typical of this region, which is known as the Costa degli Etruschi for its Etruscan heritage. The property benefits from about three hectares of maintained gardens and a large pool, and offers spacious and flexible accommodation divided over a main house and two separate apartments.

There are opportunities to take excursions, enjoy wine tastings, cooking lessons and arrange chef services for lunch and dinner via the owner, who lives in a separate building nearby. This property represents an excellent choice for a large family gathering or group of friends, perhaps for a special celebration.

Tenuta di Sassetta is well located for exploring this fascinating part of Tuscany, being near the coast so boat trips to nearby islands like Monte Cristo are possible during the summer, whilst medieval towns such as Massa Marittima and charming historic hilltop villages like Sassetta, Suvereto and San Vincenzo make pleasant day trips.
