Luxury villa Siena : This is a beautiful large luxury villa to hire near Siena, dating from the 17th century, belonging to a famous Sienese family and located in an estate of some 500 acres. Located in the ' crete senesi' , the clay region of Siena in central Tuscany, Villa Duccio is in the perfect spot for experiencing this special part of Italy: there are many fascinating historical towns and villages nearby.
The property itself was totally restored in 2000 and has a genuine Tuscan charm with antique pieces, hand-painted designs and elegant furnishings throughout. In the main villa there are eight comfortable bedrooms sleeping sixteen (each with refrigerator), whilst alongside is a separate barn conversion that can accommodate another four persons. The scenery and countryside in this region south of Siena is some of the finest in Tuscany, with panoramic views around the property from the manicured gardens. The estate itself still produces extra virgin olive oil and one can also find the rare white truffle in this area. Wine and olive oil tasting can be organised locally. There are great views from this luxury villa near Siena.
