This villa is situated in the historical and scenic area around the town of Amelia. You can go for walks in the wooded grounds and, if you want a memorable hands-on experience, open field work sessions can be organised according to the season - from grape-picking to olive-raking to helping in the oil and wine production process. All the products of the farm, such as olive oil, wine, walnuts, figs, grapes and eggs are, of course, made available to guests. Guided tours of the local wineries take place at weekends (August, September and October). For sports, there is rafting and kayaking on the Corno River, or ice-skating in Ussita.

Staying at Boscaglia will offer you the chance to get to know some of Umbria's most beautiful places, yet you are near enough to Rome to enjoy day-trips to the city when you want a change of pace.
