The delightful walled village of Montone – considered to be one of Italy’s most beautiful villages (Borghi piu belli d’Italia) - is just a ten minute drive from the villa. There are numerous other fabulous places to visit nearby, such as Citta del Castello and Cortona, as well as Perugia and Assisi slightly further afield.
